Well, I really stepped in it this time.
In late March, I sat down with a “Assistant Vice President” from a regional FDIC insured bank and talked about a great program they had for Canadian citizens who wanted to buy a house in Arizona. I was excited because we managed to finally get signed up with a lender who was willing to provide Canadian citizens mortgage loans for homes here in Arizona.
Today, my branch manager called our Assistant Vice President contact to talk about a couple of scenarios that we have working and he said something to the effect of…
“uh, didn’t you get the message, we discontinued that program on April 1, 2009″
NO WE DID NOT GET THE MESSAGE AND I PERSONALLY WONDER WHY YOUR BUSINESS CARD SAYS ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT.
All I can really do is laugh. Or cry.
But the end result is that not only can we not help you with a Canadian citizen loan for an Arizona property – I don’t know anyone else who can.
And of course… I will keep you posted.
And I apologize to all that relied on this mis-information that I put out unknowingly.
Oh, and Mr. Assistant Vice President? You can’t possibly imagine how big of a fan of yours I am right now.
